In accordance with the decision of the BOARD OF THE HUNGARIAN HANDBALL FEDERATION on April 9th ERIKA KIRSNER, Member of the DKA Board will be working as REPRESENTATIVE IN CHARGE OF THE NATIONAL WOMEN'S TEAM as well.
The decision was necessary because Vice-Chairwoman KATALIN PÁLINGER is expecting a baby and she informed the Board that in future she would only partly be able to perform her functions related to the women’s discipline.
In accordance with the decision of the Board in future the tasks related to the women’s discipline will be divided between Vice-Chairwoman KATALIN PÁLINGER and Board Member ERIKA KIRSNER.

Erika Kirsner (DKA founder, president) presents a donation of 1,000 surgical masks to Richárd Szabó, Chief Procurement Officer at Jávorszky Ödön Hospital, Vác.

Zoltán Péter Nagy (DKA founder, Vice-President) presents a donation of 1,000 surgical masks to Péter Sárkány, MD, Chief Physician and Head of Anesthesia and Intensive Care at Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County Hospital and University Teaching Hospital.
We are confident that TEAMWORK reigns supreme even beyond handball, that JOINING FORCES will help us overcome any virus, and that TOGETHER we can save lives.
DUNAKANYAR HANDBALL ACADEMY (DKA) and VÁC WOMEN’S HANDBALL ASSOCIATION (NKSE Vác) will do everything they can to contribute to the SELFLESS and enormous DAILY EFFORTS OF HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS during the current, life-changing coronavirus outbreak.
Accordingly, DKA and NKSE Vác decided to donate 1,000 high-quality surgical masks each to JÁVORSZKY ÖDÖN HOSPITAL, VÁC, and to the BORSOD-ABAÚJ-ZEMPLÉN COUNTY HOSPITAL AND UNIVERSITY TEACHING HOSPITAL.
There can be no doubt that HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS AND THEIR RECOVERED PATIENTS WILL EMERGE VICTORIOUS IN THIS FIGHT TOGETHER.
NAMASTE INDIA, NAMASTE Handball Fedaration of India!
In line with the original intent of the DKA founders (and considering the long-term interests of both the Foundation and our athletes) we have started to build international relations with the Academy. We believe that both the past and the present of Hungarian handball allow us to build opportunities with countries that are determined to grow and seek support of the Hungarian handball community for their progress. It was our honor and pleasure to meet the Secretary General of the Indian Handball Federation and Vice President of the Indian Olympic Association. Dr. Anandeshwar Panday travelled from the Indian capital to Mumbai only to meet our Vice-Chair and co-founder, Zoltán Péter Nagy to discuss the potential future collaboration with Dunakanyar Handball Academy and India, the world’s 7th greatest economy with a population over 1,3 billion people.
Thank you! More to come.

WE ARE VERY PROUD OF THE CHAIR OF THE ACADEMY, ERIKA KIRSNER, WHO WAS UNANIMOUSLY ELECTED MEMBER OF THE HUNGARIAN HANDBALL FEDERATION BY THE MEETING OF DELEGATES.
CONGRATULATIONS!
